FALL SPORTS WRAP UP
By Josh Dempsey

The Bobcats football team finished with a disappointing 4-7 record this season, but the fall sports teams have produced plenty to cheer about.

The biggest of these successes came from the women’s volleyball team, who recently earned a bid into the NCAA tournament after winning the MAC conference. The Bobcats also earned their first top 25 ranking in school history, Geoff Carlston was named MAC coach of the year, and Brianna Adamovsky was name MAC player of the year. The team will open NCAA tournament play December 3rd in Columbus.

The women’s soccer team also enjoyed great success this season while sharing the MAC regular season title for the third time. The team eventually lost in the MAC semifinals but still enjoyed a fine season.

Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams finished with respectable showings at the 2004 NCAA Great Lakes Regional. The men finished 13th overall and the women 21st, respectively.
